Abbie and Kevin’s elopement at Sea Crest Beach Hotel on Cape Cod was exactly that kind of day. It was intimate, meaningful, and completely centered around the people they love most.
Their wedding day included their five children along with a small group of close friends, which made the entire celebration feel incredibly personal from beginning to end.

A Family We Have Photographed Before

Back in 2019, we photographed the bride’s sister’s wedding. At the time, Abbie’s kids were the flower girl and ring bearer. Seeing them now… older, standing beside their mom on her own wedding day was one of those full-circle moments that makes this job so special.
One of the things we love most about being wedding photographers is getting to document families through different seasons of life. Weddings turn into newborn sessions, family portraits, anniversaries, and then sometimes another wedding years later.
Being invited back into those moments is something we never take for granted.

Even though the kids were involved throughout the day, Abbie and Kevin made it a point to make time for themselves. Because after all the day is really about them! They genuinely seemed to soak in every second together.
Some weddings feel extravagant. Now don’t get me wrong. They are fun too! But this wedding felt intentional.

One of the funniest parts about this wedding is that Marisa and I ended up loving Sea Crest Beach Hotel so much that we actually brought our own kids back later that same summer for a little getaway.
After spending the wedding day there, we completely understood why people love Cape Cod so much. The beach atmosphere, sunsets, and family-friendly feel made it such a relaxing place to spend time.
