There was an ongoing problem at the M this summer – The weather!  All and all it was actually a pretty nice summer, but for some reason every time we scheduled an engagement shoot the weather would call for rain.  We had to reschedule Crista and Ryan’s engagement shoot many, many times.  With the winter approaching and save the dates that needed a photo we felt as if we were running out of time.  Thankfully we finally did luck out with a beautiful fall afternoon in downtown Providence.  Crista and Ryan brought their boxer, Ryder, along for some photos.  He most likely won’t be able to join us at the wedding so this was the perfect chance to include him in some photos.  Can’t wait for the big day coming up in a matter of months!

One of the best parts of being wedding photographers is getting to stay connected with our couples long after the wedding day. This family portrait session was especially meaningful for us because it featured a former M.Studios wedding couple. We did Jaimee and Bill’s engagement session and wedding in 2018 and now here we are capturing this next chapter of their story!

You really can’t beat the fall in New England. We went to Goddard Park in East Greenwich, RI for this one. The colors were poppin’! Sessions like this are a sweet reminder that photography doesn’t stop at the wedding — it evolves as life does. There are still more stories to tell.

At M.Studios, we photograph more than just weddings. We offer family portrait sessions for our past couples and new families alike. Many of our wedding couples are surprised to learn that family photography has always been part of what we do so we are going to start to focus this work a little more than we have in the past. We love continuing to document our couple’s families as they grow. There’s nothing more special than being trusted to photograph not just one milestone, but many.

Introducing Abbie and Bryan! They had their wedding at the stunning Oceancliff Resort in Newport, RI, and let us tell you, it was a flower heaven. Picture this: painted orchids all the way from Holland, creating a floral masterpiece that would make anyone swoon! We first crossed paths with these two during their engagement session in the concrete jungle of NYC. Mother Nature was a bit mischievous, and we had to reschedule a couple of times due to some pesky rain. Speaking of rain, guess what was in the forecast for their wedding weekend? Yep, you got it. Rain, rain, and more rain. But here’s the plot twist—Mother Nature decided to cut us some slack this time. It was supposed to be a rainy day extravaganza, but instead, we got clear skies! From the outdoor ceremony at Oceancliff to the breathtaking Brenton Point, the weather made it possible for us to use the most picturesque backdrops for these two! Abbie and Bryan, we had an absolute blast capturing your wedding journey. From NYC to sailing around Newport (literally and figuratively) to this beautiful Oceancliff wedding it was our honor and pleasure to capture all these amazing moments!
