Lynell planned a beautiful winter wedding at Linden Place in Bristol. The uninitiated might think she chose her date because she and her bridesmaids wanted to rock those fur stoles, but we know better. Like us, Lynell works in the wedding industry, so we know that she got married in the winter because in the other seasons, she’s busy planning for others! But winter allowed her to bring such a cozy vibe to her wedding day and she even got a few snow flurries, which made for some amazing photos.

Lynell works for Russell Morin Catering, so we’ve known her for so long. She’s probably a familiar face to a lot of our couples and a lot of wedding vendors. That’s why we took it as such a compliment that she chose us to capture the moments of her very special day.

And we had some amazing things to photograph. If you ever want to see an incredible wedding, snag an invite from someone in the industry. The chairs, the linens, the dinnerware, those killer heels — people in the industry know how to find the best of the best.

Lynell, we’ll see you at plenty of weddings to come, but were so glad to share with you and Dan the most important one you’ll ever attend.

After freezing our butts off at Allie and Blake’s engagement session, we all were thrilled that they had an unseasonably warm, 70-degree November wedding day in Cape Cod!

This Cape Cod wedding was so much fun, and not only because the warmth between the bride and groom rivaled the incredible warmth of the day. We also shot Blake’s sister’s wedding and his cousin’s wedding, and we were so excited to see so many familiar faces!

The expert planning by Christina and Jenn of Whitney Events was evident in all the wedding details, from the bubbles that followed the bride and groom from the ceremony site to the delicate greenery that covered the reception tables to the blue glassware that echoed the blue in the bride’s bouquet, the bridesmaid dresses and the water beyond the Woods Hole Golf Club reception site. As photographers, we adore all those little touches that make a wedding truly stand out!

The whole wedding party prepped for the ceremony at the nearby Coonamessett Inn, and we loved photographing Allie as she got ready to put on her next-level gorgeous wedding dress. Her veil with all the pearls sewn into it was just perfect. And can we talk about her reception dress? She couldn’t have worn anything better on the dance floor, which was out of control.

Blake and Allie, please call us when another cousin or sibling gets married! Until then, enjoy your wedded life together. We were so happy to see it start.

Cara and Bennie, you have our whole hearts! And obviously, we were not the only ones with our eye on this fabulous couple at their Belle Mer wedding. It was almost like Mother Nature saw them, thought to herself, “These. Two!” and graced them with the most perfect lighting a Newport wedding has ever seen.

And speaking of perfect, we’re wondering how Bennie’s plans for his class on how to be a groom are coming along. He nailed every direction we gave him, effortlessly pulled off the sockless-in-a-tux beachy vibe and, backed by his talented musical family, serenaded his bride at the reception. What?!?

But it does take two, and Cara brought plenty of perfection of her own to Belle Mer. They brought equal energy to their beautiful vows, spoken during the most magical of magic hours in Newport, then expertly got the party started with their “Dirty Dancing” worthy entry to their wedding reception.

And not to self-promote, but we were happy to hear that Cara and her mom, Kim, are big fans of our podcast. They even got Cara’s dad, Craig, to give it a listen. His review? “I have to say — you girls are batshit crazy.” Best thing a father of the bride has ever said to us. Excuse us while we update our website!

Cara and Bennie, we love you as much as our cameras do. May your life together be as dreamy as your wedding day.
