Here at M.Studios we LOVE coffee. I mean we looooove it. So, when Demi and Thomas suggested we start their engagement session at Main Street Coffee in East Greenwich we were stoked! This isn’t just another coffee shop, this is where Thomas proposed to Demi, making it extra special. We love it when our couples personalize their sessions, it adds a little more love and sentimentality to an already special time. The couple’s adorable little girl joined us along the way adding significant cuteness to the images. We strolled down Main St. and landed in front of Luniac Glamour (owned by a former bride!). This perfectly pink storefront made for an awesome backdrop, and as the words on the door declared, this was our happy place! At the end of our time that evening we had a lot of smiles, a good caffeine buzz, and one tired out little girl. Perfection.

XO

It’s always really sweet when we get to have children join in on an engagement session.  We loved seeing the interaction between Rachel and Joe and the girls. They really made our time at Roger Williams Park in Providence that much more fun. We met on a perfect evening and walked and talked and took lots of pictures. The girls even did an impromptu playground-hand-slapping-singing-dancing routine (pretty sure that’s what you call it) which made for some super fun images. We had such a nice evening with a very nice, new family!

We knew going into this engagement session that it was going to be a good one. You see, Chelsea is a lover of shabby chic, seaside, DIY decor.  She is also the owner and lead artisan of Style By The Sea where she makes beautiful, rustic, reclaimed wood signs which she ships all over the country. She actually made her own “Will you marry me?” sign without knowing it! Zach put in a fake order and then totally surprised her with it when he proposed. Chelsea incorporated a few of her lovely signs into the session and then blew us away with the lakeside portion of our evening. There were lots of vintage details, some peonies, and handmade candles (by Chelsea of course) that will be incorporated into their January wedding. We are really in love with this beautiful session and this awesome couple, just imagine what the wedding will look like!
