How can we even begin to describe Kristen and Guy’s wedding? How?! It was the perfect combination of fun, love, quirkiness, Rhode Island and so much more!  Kristen is one of the owners of Luniac Glamour in East Greenwich so style and beautiful things are part of her job.  We started the day at Nylo for getting ready shots and some touching yet swanky first look photos.  The Temple of Music in Roger Williams Park was the setting for their ceremony. While it was super windy we thought it made for great photography. (We can find the silver lining in anything!) The newlyweds took off for their reception at Vanity in a vintage, baby blue Volkswagen Bug, complete with a just married sign and decoupaged, yes decoupaged, cans attached at the back. A few rain showers trickled in but that was just so a rainbow could appear over Providence for Kristen and Guy. This was the very first wedding reception at Vanity and the staff was amazing. A table with chocolate covered pretzel “cigars” and candy cigarettes greeted guests. The venue’s speakeasy theme suited the wedding styling perfectly, not to mention the signature cocktail appropriately named Love Potion, which was freshly made for each guest who ordered it. Every vendor, from the dress maker, to the bride and groom’s custom rings (hello, fingerprints engraved on each one?!), right down to us M’s was from right here in Rhode Island. Turns out big things do come in small packages! Enjoy!

You would think that when a couple’s wedding venue is a fine art museum they wouldn’t go too crazy with their details, what with all the beauty already there. This was not the case for Dan and Kate’s wedding at the Currier Museum! Located in Manchester, NH, your quintessential New England town, these two avid antique collectors merely used the museum as a backdrop to showcase their incredible collection of glassware and thrifted collectibles accented by amazing florals by Apotheca Flowers . When we bumped into Dan in the morning he was wearing a Captain America t-shirt (he is an amazing comic book artist) and was laid back as could be. He transformed into a Clooney-esque groom while Kate worked on her vintage-glam styling complete with a facinator. We love fascinators! We were able to explore the museum with the couple and even grabbed some pictures with a gorgeous Monet, The Seine at Bougival. To be surrounded by such love and such amazing art was an experience we will always treasure. Oh and we got to wear cool VIP passes, that was awesome, too.

We were hoping that it wouldn’t rain on the big day. Not only did the rain stay away but the sky was so amazing! After some photos by the water we walked to the casino for more picture taking. This place is so very neat and different. There is a bowling alley inside the venue! Yes, a bowling alley! It isn’t everyday that you get to take wedding formals on a bowling alley. We took full advantage of the opportunity. Meredith and Dave were also the first wedding that we introduced our photobooth with printed photos for guests to take home at the wedding. We are more than pleased with the results. Check out the photo of the amazing photo display that Marisa made with lots of TLC.
