We could just gush all over this wedding. We could tell you how amazing Heather and Alex are, how loving their families are, how both M’s teared up during the ceremony because the beautiful love this couple shares is palpable. Watching fun loving Alex become so serious and emotional at the church would melt anyone’s heart.  We could go on and tell you how we’ve never laughed so hard at a wedding. Alex has two brothers and the relationship they share is enviable to anyone with children, notably someone with three boys (Marisa!). We could tell you that Regatta Place was beyond perfect… the weather, the gorgeous decor courtesy of Flowerthyme , the impossibly attractive guests, a dance floor that wouldn’t quit all night with World Premiere Band keeping the party going. Heather was a shining light of beauty.  With makeup by Aline Sarkis Beauty, hair by Jennifer Gilbert and the perfect dress Heather was truly a breathtaking bride.  Alex, who up until this past Valentines Day had shoulder length hair, was as dapper as Don Draper. By now we are all familiar with the traditional wedding vows…for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health. Couples exchange these words expecting challenges down the road, but way down the road when they are older and time has given them the experience to handle the curve balls that life throws at them. A mere two days before their wedding planned for May 19th Ronnie fell ill and the wedding had to be postponed. Melissa was the picture of strength, standing by her future husband as he healed and got stronger. Fast forward, 105 days later to the happiest celebration and the most beautiful day at The Atlantic Beach Club! We were so touched that in the chaos of rescheduling their wedding, Melissa and Ronnie were steadfast in keeping us as their photographers. We were more than excited to hear this news, because honestly, we adore them! We felt like old friends after the engagement shoot and we were so happy to be a part of the joy of their big day. It was nonstop fun and we captured every minute of it. They are the kind of couple who whose love and happiness are infectious. Congratulations Melissa and Ronnie! To love and to cherish, from this day forward…

Summertime in Bristol, RI invokes images of 4th of July, sailing, outdoor dining and of course, weddings! Cara and Mark fell in love with Blithewold Mansion for their venue.  They had the most perfect summer day to have a vintage inspired wedding with their big italian families and friends! We love when our clients honor their family members in their styling, sometimes a necklace or earrings.  Cara chose her mother’s veil and it was stunning!  One of the bridesmaids even commented that she looked “so italian”! Guests enjoyed cocktails on the lawn overlooking the ocean, croquet was played, and the amazing gardens were explored. After the first dance (Hotel Yorba by the White Stripes played skillfully by The Goodtime Stringband!) we took Cara and Mark to the gardens where we ventured out and beyond, all the way to the bamboo forest. So much love filled the tent that night, you could hear family speaking Italian, Mark’s father had the dance floor going all night long, and the food! Blackstone Catering did an amazing spread topped off by a stunning cake courtesy of Konditor Meister. We loved being a part of this beautiful day. Best. Job. Ever.
