Providence was shining extra bright for Molly and Dougall’s engagement session! This session marked two firsts for us… We were able to hit the sunflowers for the first time ever! They never seem to be in bloom when we want them to be but on this day we got ’em! Another first… we were able to take photos for the very first time at the cool, new pedestrian bridge and it did not disappoint! Our little city was really showing off! How could it not? Molly and Dougall are truly the best! We can’t wait to celebrate with you next year!!!

Before you get too excited, no — we did not keep one eye out for a our fave vendor friends during Christina and Joe’s engagement session. We didn’t do this shoot at the Castle Hill in Newport, but instead at the Castle Hill in Ipswich, Massachusetts, which has its own claim to fame — part of the new Little Women movie was filmed at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate. So the grass we walked once cushioned the steps of teen heartthrob Timothée Chalamet. Christina probably would have been more impressed if she weren’t already so swoony over Joe!

Christina and Joe are such a sweet couple and we had so much fun at their engagement session! And we were super excited to photograph their totally off the hook wedding. We’ve never seen so many flowers in one place!

We both lived in New York, so when we had the chance to do engagement photos in Long Island City, we were so excited to see that gorgeous New York skyline again. But the love between Haley and John kind of eclipsed the view!

We had never been to Long Island City before, so Haley and John suggested we use Gantry Plaza State Park for their engagement photos. And what a perfect spot! We love doing outdoor engagement sessions. The signs around the Gantry made an awesome photo background, and we had so much fun following them around and snapping pictures of them being fabulous!

We loved working with Haley and John and were honored to take their wedding pictures last fall when they got married at John Edwards Vineyard in Connecticut. Congrats to the happy couple and thanks for being so awesome!
