We love shooting at Roger Williams Park. There are so many spots to take beautiful photos and it’s right in our backyard.  Liz and Leo had thier first date there so what better place to pick?  When we saw the beautiful blue dress Liz picked out we knew the photos would be great.  Nothing like a little color pop to brighten up engagment photos!  These pictures were taken in the middle of summer.  Weather wise it will very different from the wedding that takes place at the end of fall.  We are so excited for the big day at the Towers in Narragansett!  It’s going to be a good one!!!

For you all of you Instagram users this blog post is a #latergram.  Or maybe it’s Throw Back Sunday?  Whatever the case may be we did an engagement session redux for Halle and Ed back in May.  Our first engagement session took place at World’s End in Massachusetts.  Shortly after the session Ed decided to lose 20 lbs!  We decided to do a quick second session for these guys in honor of Ed looking good!  Usually they refer to sequels as being bigger, faster and better than the original.  In our case bigger doesn’t fit, BUT better does.  We thought the first session was good, but this one tops it for sure!

We met Alyssa and Marc on a beautiful evening in Newport on First Beach. There was a slight chill in the air which meant we had the beach all to ourselves. This was our first beach session of the year and it felt so good to get our toes in the sand! The couple wore complimentary shades of aqua mimicking the sea behind them. All went perfectly normal until the wardrobe change and the props came out. Alyssa had seen photos of a couple who had used Gulal, which are dry powder colors traditionally used during Holi, the Festival of Colors that takes place throughout India. The idea was they would start off wearing white shirts and throw the powder colors at each other and that’s exactly what happened! So this very traditional engagement session turned into anything but. We seriously have the most fun clients!
