We have done lots of engagement sessions in many different places but we had never been to Philly! Stacey and Adam are planning a gorgeous wedding in Newport next year. As a native Rhode Islander, Stacey is excited to get married in her home state and to show the out of town guests the glory of summer in the Ocean State. The day we met Stacey and Adam was far from summer, it was downright cold. Luckily the City of Brotherly Love warmed us with it’s beautiful sights. Stacey and Adam were our tour guides and our chauffeurs. They took us around to some stellar locations including the Rocky Steps. Some people refer to this locale as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, not us. Marisa has a deep affection for The Italian Stallion and so we will refer to these steps as the Rocky Steps from here on out.
Throughout the late afternoon we hit three locations, all completely different and all with different lighting. We adore this kind of variety. And we adore Stacey and Adam. They gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations and we ate like queens that night (and the next morning)! We are looking forward to summer 2015 so we can spend even more time with this fabulous couple!!

Some engagement sessions are simply ideal. Perfect light, beautiful location, lovely couple. This was one of those days! Megan and Travis literally laughed the entire time. Must have been something in the air because it went by in a flash but their happiness is forever preserved in the following images. Megan is a total knockout who transformed her look when she changed into her white and black ensemble. We love how it really popped against the fall foliage. And although Travis may look like a college guy we have here a future surgeon who spent the entire night before this session working in the hospital. He was exhausted but rallied for his bride to be. So not only do they look great but they also have a super bright future ahead of them. We can’t wait until their wedding in September at Linden Place!!

There aren’t many other places that we’d rather shoot than Roger Williams Park in the fall.  It seems that our clients feel the same way since they all requested this locale for their autumn engagement sessions.  Melissa and Tom were one of them.  Prior to the engagement session we had only “met” these two on Skype.  It was so nice to see them in person!  They are getting married at one of our favorite venues, Bittersweet Farm.  Just like Roger Williams Park we have had the pleasure of doing many events at Bittersweet and we can’t wait to go back for this wedding.  We had so much fun exploring the park with Melissa and Tom.  Any bride to be that shows up in such a fun blazer is A-OKay with us!  Outfit number two included some great brown boots that actually matched the M’s who wore the exact same outfit to the shoot totally by accident!  Oops!
