After doing all of the formals beforehand we headed over to Oceancliff for the ceremony. The weather had called for rain and it did in fact rain all morning. Thankfully it stopped just in time to do pictures. The amazing crew at Oceancliff dried off the grass so that Nicole and Josh could have the outside ceremony they were hoping for. Earlier in the day when Marisa got back from photographing the guys getting ready she told the girls that the boys were having lots of fun. There were some worried looks among the bridesmaids. One asked “Not too much fun I hope!” and Nicole even asked if her dog was still alive! I was a little confused by the reaction until I saw that this crew are definite party people and love to have a good time! Marisa and I were there until the end of the reception. It was crazy! Wish we could have joined in but there was work to be done!

Spend a little bit of time with Josh and Nicole and you’ll see how much these two love each other. How did they meet? Nicole was actually Josh’s tenant. What young, handsome dude has his act together enough to own and rent property? Josh is obviously a keeper and Nicole was lucky to scoop him up. I don’t think she had to put too much effort into wooing Josh. This boy is head over heels. When we were doing the formals we noticed whenever we told them to look at each other Josh just seemed to relax and his expression said it all. Nicole got ready at the Mill Street Inn in Newport. They opted to see each other before the wedding so they could enjoy their party. Smart people! There were so many great spots outside of the inn. It had rained earlier in the day, but the rest of the day was clear skies!

I think it’s safe to say that there is a love fest going here – Tori and Wei love each other and of course we love them and vice versa. After doing some photos on the beach in Tori’s hometown of Mattapoisett we headed over to the Glen Manor House, one of our favorite venues. Sayles Livingston did an exceptional job on the flower arrangements for the wedding from the table arrangements to the stunning bouquets.  At the rehearsal dinner we spied the programs for the wedding.  We were so excited to find the page that listed the wedding party with a little silhouette of each member.  Photo inspiration soon followed when we realized we had to recreate it in a photo.  One more tidbit about the programs that you should know – Tori designed them herself!  So not only is she a doctor, but she also did flower arrangements for the rehearsal dinner, made the cookies for the wedding and designed the programs and menus!?  Is there anything she can’t do?  (she is so most likely hating me right now for bragging about her awesomeness)  The night included wonderful speeches, the “Tootie Ta Dance”, a traditional Malaysian tea ceremony and crazy dancing.  Tori and Wei were pretty much the center of all the dancing antics.  You have to love a bride and groom who cut loose on the dance floor!
