When we decided to do Sarah and Bryan’s engagement session in Charlestown, the oldest neighborhood in Boston, all we knew about it was what we had seen in The Town. While we never saw Ben Affleck or any bank robberies we were delighted to be among narrow, tree lined streets with pastel painted houses and overflowing window boxes. Sarah borrowed her father’s vintage bicycle and bought a huge, round, coral colored balloon (she actually bought six but would have had to rent a U-Haul to get them home!) We walked up to Bunker Hill where the light was absolutely magical. We were so excited that Sarah and Bryan decided to include props in this session, however we decided that balloons are even more difficult to work with than children and dogs. Sarah and Bryan were great sports and had such a fun sense of humor that we laughed through the entire shoot. We can’t wait for their wedding at The Red Lion Inn this fall!

You would think that when a couple’s wedding venue is a fine art museum they wouldn’t go too crazy with their details, what with all the beauty already there. This was not the case for Dan and Kate’s wedding at the Currier Museum! Located in Manchester, NH, your quintessential New England town, these two avid antique collectors merely used the museum as a backdrop to showcase their incredible collection of glassware and thrifted collectibles accented by amazing florals by Apotheca Flowers . When we bumped into Dan in the morning he was wearing a Captain America t-shirt (he is an amazing comic book artist) and was laid back as could be. He transformed into a Clooney-esque groom while Kate worked on her vintage-glam styling complete with a facinator. We love fascinators! We were able to explore the museum with the couple and even grabbed some pictures with a gorgeous Monet, The Seine at Bougival. To be surrounded by such love and such amazing art was an experience we will always treasure. Oh and we got to wear cool VIP passes, that was awesome, too.

Arianne and Paul are not just in love with each other. They are crazy in love! What more could photographers who specialize in romance ask for? You could add in the beautiful Glen Manor as the venue. Yes, please. Oh, and a blush pink wedding dress! Um, please and thank you!  Yes, Arianne and Paul had all of this and then some.  An amazing cake by Sweet Indulgence inspired by Arianne’s dress, glittery Kate Spade shoes (our favorite)…  The list goes on and on.  One of the best things at Arianne and Paul’s wedding was their little baby boy who had the honor of being the ring bearer.  Arianne warned us that he might steal the show.  He was so adorable in his little tuxedo.  It helped that he is the happiest guy ever.  Probably because he has some good parents.
