There’s something romantic about libraries. Maybe it’s all the whispering. Maybe it’s the volumes of love stories hidden within the stacks. (Maybe we just wanted a way to slip in how much we love Green Day’s song At the Library!) Erin and Ryan warmed their guests’ hearts and hands at their gorgeous winter wedding at the Providence Public Library. Freezing temperatures and snow didn’t stop us from a lovely photo stroll down Westminster Street. Pretty storefronts made great backdrops to pose in front of as we made our way from the Biltmore to the Providence Public Library. Guests were welcomed with card catalog place cards set amongst paper flowers made from book pages. DJ Sheldon set the atmosphere with his on point song choices and mixing while Russell Morin Fine Catering kept things rolling with passed hors d’oeuvres and a delicious sit down dinner. The entire night was warm, romantic, and full of love for this sweet couple! Congratulations Erin and Ryan!

We first experienced the sweet love between Jenica and Angus during their engagement session on a warm spring morning on the east side of Providence. When we met them again on their wedding day it was a snowy winter wonderland at Bittersweet Farm in Westport. Jenica was a vision in her embellished sheath gown, vintage stole, fascinator & blue shoes. Angus was extremely dapper in his sharp suit and newly grown beard. The entire focus of the day was on this lovely couple. They even walked each other down the isle to “their song”, Swept Away by the Avett Brothers. From start to finish this day embodied the words of this song so we will leave you with these lyrics from the heart…
“Well life is ever changing
But I will always find a constant
And comfort in your love
With your heart my soul is bound
And as we dance I know
That heaven will be found”.

We love Margeaux and Kevin! From her winning smile to his quiet observances these two will forever be dear to our hearts. We kicked off 2014 with this gorgeous winter wedding. Our couple chose to go the traditional route and see each other first on the isle of the Seekonk Congregational Church. Many tears of happiness were wiped away in the pews. We then headed to the snow lined streets of Downtown Providence which created a perfect background for the black and white styling of the wedding party. Our hearts were filled with warmth but that’s about it. It was FREEZING! Thankfully all involved were good sports and all around super fun people. Everyone obliged and helped create fantastic memories with Margeaux and Kevin. The Providence Public Library was stunning as ever. Victor Events provided some killer uplighting and even had people dancing before dinner. Victor never disappoints and always goes above and beyond! (plus he’s really nice and gives out free hugs) Russell Morin served an amazing feast and were a pleasure to work with as usual. An impressive cake created by Bake. Eat. Love. topped off the culinary portion of the evening and the guests danced into the night. As cold as it was outside, the love these two share warmed up the library as if it had been summer. Thank you for providing us with an amazing start to an amazing year! XO
