We first crossed paths with these two during their engagement session in the concrete jungle of NYC. Mother Nature was a bit mischievous, and we had to reschedule a couple of times due to some pesky rain. Speaking of rain, guess what was in the forecast for their wedding weekend? Yep, you got it. Rain, rain, and more rain. But here’s the plot twist—Mother Nature decided to cut us some slack this time. It was supposed to be a rainy day extravaganza, but instead, we got clear skies! From the outdoor ceremony at Oceancliff to the breathtaking Brenton Point, the weather made it possible for us to use the most picturesque backdrops for these two! Abbie and Bryan, we had an absolute blast capturing your wedding journey. In the immortal words of Beyoncé, this ain’t Texas, but that didn’t stop Ashley and Ryan from making the trip from Texas to host their wedding at the stunning Newport Beach House in Newport! We first met these two lovebirds last summer during their engagement session in Jamestown. Thanks to the magic of remote work they were able to spend the summer in Newport and boy, are we glad they did!

While most people pop champagne at their engagement sessions Ashley and Ryan brought some killer craft beer from Long Live Brewery where Ashley was working at the time. We got to give them an idea of what it’s like to live in the smallest state in the union when we found out our friend also worked there and would be at the wedding. Of course, Long Live beer made a special appearance at the Newport Beach House!

We already knew Ashley and Ryan were head over heels in love, but listening to their vows and the heartfelt speeches just confirmed they’re truly meant to be. Being around this kind of happiness is exactly why we love what we do.

These two have been listening to our podcast for the past year and messaging us about episodes—they felt like old friends when we arrived on their big day. At the end of the night, Ashley called us their New England besties, and honestly, we couldn’t agree more!
