Oh how do we love Linden Place, let us count the ways! Megan and Travis truly knocked our socks off with their perfectly romantic styling of the already stunning mansion. Part of the allure of Megan is that she doesn’t let her beauty define her. She is a down to earth, incredibly lighthearted woman whose smile lights up the room. When Travis saw her for their first look he was visibly blown away. Wearing a strapless, lace Anne Barge gown and Badgley Mischka heels, Megan was a vision to behold. A color pallet of neutral whites and blush pinks and was carried through from the bridesmaids’ dresses, to the incredible florals by Greenlion Design, to the tablescapes in the Carriage House Ballroom. Guests were witness to an outdoor ceremony followed by cocktail hour in the East Rose Garden surrounded by the sweet sounds of a string trio. Vintage lanterns hung in the trees while family and friends noshed on delicacies cooked up by the fine folks at Russell Morin Catering and enjoyed the most polished game of corn hole ever. The carriage house was styled with thousands of twinkle lights creating a warm glow overhead while sequined, chevron linens and exquisite flowers in found vessels adorned the dinner tables. Before and after dinner Splash! performed for the guests and we got to see how elegance turns rowdy with the proper music! The entire day had a graceful vibe inspired by Megan and Travis’ effortless love. To share in this day was a heartwarming experience and we are nothing short of thankful!

One of the perks of our job is getting to be a tourist in our own state. It’s awesome. Many times we find ourselves on location for a photo shoot where we wouldn’t ordinarily visit. Kaitlin and Ryan chose Water Place Park and the Rhode Island State House. One fun fact about our state house is that it has the fourth-largest self-supporting marble dome in the world. In the WORLD! Every child who grew up in this state learns that fact and has at least one field trip where they marvel looking up at the dome and whispers of “fourth largest unsupported dome in the world” can be heard all around.  So, to go there with our cameras and the vibrancy of Kaitlin and Ryan was a great treat. This wonderful couple has a joie de vivre which can be seen and felt in their portraits. Kaitlin is a classic beauty and together she and Ryan make a most lovely couple. This was a wonderful day that will be remembered for a long, long time. XO

Alyssa and Marc tied the knot on a beautiful summer Sunday. The Hyatt Recency in Newport was the perfect venue for their seaside themed, daytime celebration. Alyssa had been counting down the days to the wedding even before our super fun engagement session the previous spring. So when the day finally arrived she was beyond excited! A private first look eased the nerves of the bride and groom and kicked off the formals with the wedding party. Alyssa and Marc shared a unique ceremony with a surprising butterfly release that wowed guests. The little guys seemed to fancy Alyssa’s gown and some even decided to stay put for the remainder of the ceremony!  The ballroom welcomed guests with fun seaside centerpieces, a delicious meal and tunes that got the crowd up and dancing. The day was a fun filled, lighthearted celebration that we are so thankful to have been a part of. Cheers to all the future has to hold, Alyssa and Marc!
