Sixty-one years ago JFK and Jacqueline Bouvier were married at St. Mary’s Church in Newport RI. But this particular day in September belonged solely to Jenn and Kevin. A gorgeous sunlit day provided the perfect setting for a wedding. The ladies enjoyed the beauty of 41 North for their final getting ready touches while the men suited up down the street. Jenn was glowing in her strapless Musette gown with a delicate, lace capped sleeve top. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. To be in a place with so much history was a treat to all and in spite of the grand scale of the church itself the gathering felt very intimate and personal. After the church we made a few stops around Newport for some formal portraits. A lovely park, Ochre Court and Bowen’s Wharf made for some lighthearted moments and a giant orange balloon even made its way into some pictures adding to the lighthearted vibe already in place. A cocktail hour and reception at the Newport Yachting Center followed at which guests enjoyed the breathtaking sunset that Newport shows off so well. As usual, Victor Events had the crowd dancing before dinner was even served! Jenn and Kevin entered the room and shared a moving choreographed first dance that did not appear choreographed at all. These two love to dance and twirl and they do it with such style that it makes you fall in love with them. It was such a treat to be a part of this wonderful day!

When you plan a wedding by the sea you wish and hope for a beautiful day. Maybe you hang rosary beads on the clothesline or perhaps you send the intention out to the universe. Either way you want that day to be sunny and warm and that’s exactly what Jeniimarie and Peter got! The ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency on Goat Island in Newport. Jeniimarie was the happiest bride with hardly any nerves. She was just so excited to marry her love and it showed in every way especially her pretty smile. Absolutely gorgeous in her strapless Allure Bridals gown and and blue kitten heels, Jeniimarie wowed everyone, especially Peter. When he saw her walk down the isle you could read the happiness in his heart on his face. The heartfelt ceremony was followed by some formal portraits on the grounds including by the lighthouse which was constructed in 1842! An indoor/outdoor cocktail hour was highlighted by a stellar sunset while guests mingled. Once inside the the party got started after a nice sit-down meal. A delightful ice cram bar added to the desert menu and guests were able to make their own sundaes! DJ Luke Renchan mixed great tunes including some Puerto Rican favorites that had everyone dancing and celebrating this beloved couple (as well as burning off those ice cream calories). It was a truly beautiful day!

What’s better than a wedding at a botanical garden?! Following a private first look (well, sort of private, there were totally some peeping Toms) Laura and Ryan shared their vows surrounded by endless species and cultivars of plants at the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center. Waterfall? Check. Palm trees indoors? Check. Hot ticket bride? Check. The lively colors that highlighted the styling perfectly suited our Laura. Her lively personality could definitely be described as HOT PINK! Decked out in a strapless Maggie Soterro gown and Isaac Mizrahi wedges (hot pink), gorgeous side swept curls and the face of an angel made up by the incredibly talented Aline Sarkis Beauty, Laura was a real head turner. Ryan wore a classic black tux and was the perfect handsome groom for his bride. Guests clearly enjoyed their surroundings during the cocktail hour while listening to a sting trio and munching on goodies prepared and passed by Pranzi Catering. After a delicious seated meal our new friend Bill, from Rhythm Express, had everyone in the room rocking out in no time. Laura’s twin brothers are fearless party people and in no time an impromptu limbo line was formed using one of the brother’s belts. This was orchestrated with only a hand gesture, apparently words are not needed between twins, even on the dance floor! This wedding was such a blast, we loved being a part of it all!
