There is nothing like a hand written thank you note! Especially one as sweet as this thoughtful card from Lisa and Jim…

“Melissa and Marisa,

We want to sincerely thank you for being a part of our wedding weekend in Newport.  You were both such a pleasure to work with and made everyone feel so incredibly special!  Jim and I felt comfortably at ease and really enjoyed ourselves every step of the way.  Your infectious energy and amazing talent combined with your beautiful positivity truly make you a dream team!  Can’t wait to see the photos and relive our magical day.  I know it a lot of work to manage bride and grooms along with their “entourage” but you both make it look so easy!  Despite the weather you kept us all calm and brought everything together for us.  Honestly the photo booth was brilliant!  AHH!  Everyone is still talking about it.  So much fun!  Once again we really appreciate your hard work from start to finish!  Cheers and lots of love – Lisa and Jim XOXO”

New England in the fall is beautiful. And when a couple in love wanders around marveling in its sights it becomes even more beautiful. We were lucky enough to share in some of Katie and Jessica’s romance on their beautiful engagement session on the East Side of Providence this autumn. With the promise of a wedding at the Providence Public Library coming up we were more than happy to wander a more suburban area for these portraits. It is always a treat to get to know our couples before the wedding date and we are truly grateful to be a part of what will prove to be a beautiful day!

Sixty-one years ago JFK and Jacqueline Bouvier were married at St. Mary’s Church in Newport RI. But this particular day in September belonged solely to Jenn and Kevin. A gorgeous sunlit day provided the perfect setting for a wedding. The ladies enjoyed the beauty of 41 North for their final getting ready touches while the men suited up down the street. Jenn was glowing in her strapless Musette gown with a delicate, lace capped sleeve top. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. To be in a place with so much history was a treat to all and in spite of the grand scale of the church itself the gathering felt very intimate and personal. After the church we made a few stops around Newport for some formal portraits. A lovely park, Ochre Court and Bowen’s Wharf made for some lighthearted moments and a giant orange balloon even made its way into some pictures adding to the lighthearted vibe already in place. A cocktail hour and reception at the Newport Yachting Center followed at which guests enjoyed the breathtaking sunset that Newport shows off so well. As usual, Victor Events had the crowd dancing before dinner was even served! Jenn and Kevin entered the room and shared a moving choreographed first dance that did not appear choreographed at all. These two love to dance and twirl and they do it with such style that it makes you fall in love with them. It was such a treat to be a part of this wonderful day!

XO
