Cohasset, Massachusetts is a former fishing village tucked in along the rocky shores where greater Boston Harbor ends and Massachusetts Bay begins. Nestled among the shops on Main St. is the Red Lion Inn. This quickly became a favorite venue for us to shoot because of the beautiful landscaping, the incredible Lion’s Hall, attentive staff and close proximity to the beach. Stephanie and Tim had the most beautiful day and together with their sweet daughter they celebrated with family and friends into the night. Sean got the first look of his glowing bride in her strapless Maggie Sottero, lace gown on the mezzanine in the Lion’s Hall. The handsome couple shared some private moments before heading outside into the sunshine for portraits with their wedding party. As guests found their seats for the ceremony, Stephanie and Sean parted ways to prepare. Joined by their daughter, Stephanie and her father walked down the aisle arm in arm while she held a delicate paper flower bouquet.  The chandeliers and Edison lights had the room glowing, flower petals lined the isle, and guests were moved by the thoughtful, person vows. Cocktail hour on the mezzanine was followed by the newlyweds’ grand entrance down the staircase and their first dance. Instead of taking their seats, Sean had put together a surprise flash mob with the wedding party for Stephanie! It was a huge surprise for everyone! A lovely dinner was followed by dancing and lots of shenanigans in our photo booth. It was an absolutely beautiful day!

Megan and Cailee had an absolutely perfect day for a seaside wedding. You can’t beat The Rhode Island coastline during the month of August; Newport is bustling with tourists, surfers, beach-goers, and brides!  Our brides chose the Rotunda at Easton’s Beach for their laid back, beachy ceremony and reception. As the sun slowly began to descend Cailee caught her first glimpse Megan as she walked down the aisle with her father. Glowing in a strapless gown, Megan walked toward her future. In keeping true to her style, Cailee wore Armani and hightop Converse and was gorgeous! After the ceremony and dodging nosy sunbathers, we headed down to the beach for family portraits. The kids really enjoyed letting loose in the sand and being able to run wild and free! We went to the carousel, which is a super fun feature of having a wedding at the Rotunda. Friends and family we already gathered inside the ballroom to greet the newlyweds as the had their first dance together. The cookout style dinner was followed by dancing and even some karaoke! A wonderful time was had by all and we loved every minute of this beautiful day!

When Chris and Courtney look back on their wedding day they will be moved to tears. The day was filled with beauty and love and sunshine. Castle Hill Inn was at its summertime finest and bathed in light. The sailcloth tent was glowing in shades of white and pink, lit candles and twinkling lights.  At the center of it all were our bide and groom who chose to do a first look in the magnificent garden by the fountain. Courtney covered Chris’ eyes and when he turned around he saw his bride clad in a lacy Casablanca Bridal gown, diamond drop earrings & sparkly silver heels. Courtney’s flawless make-up by Aline Sarkis Beauty, side swept hair and fingertip veil highlighted her award winning smile; she was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect match for her handsome groom. After a stroll around the garden we met the wedding party for pretty portraits among the hydrangeas. Castle Hill Inn lies on a peninsula on the western-most tip of Newport. Once the summer Cottage of a wealthy marine biologist, it is now a luxurious hotel and event venue. During the summer of 1956 Grace Kelly retreated to Castle Hill while filming High Society with Frank Sinatra. She would climb down the steep rocks and sunbathe and swim in the cove away from prying eyes. The climb back up was very difficult so the staff built a stairway for her that we still use to this day. The cove is now named Grace Kelly Beach and this is where we took Chris and Courtney right before their “I do’s” by the water’s edge. After the heartfelt ceremony the wonderful staff drove us by golf cart to the historic lighthouse which was built in 1890. It’s somewhat harrowing to shoot over here but well worth it for the stunning views. It’s breathtaking! Cocktail hour on the lawn was followed by dinner and dancing under the tent. The reception was filled with a sit-down dinner, a memory filled slide show, incredible cake by Scrumptions, and their parents were each surprised with their own dance to their wedding songs. This was a magical day for Chris and Courtney and the perfect first day of the rest of their lives together!
