When Lindsey walked into our office with her red Kate Spade purse that looks like an old timey typewriter we were kind of in love…  with the purse…  and Lindsey…  and of course Bob!  Come to find out it’s more than a purse.  According to Lindsey it’s her spirit animal.  You have to respect a woman who has so much love for her bag!  The RISD Museum in Providence seemed like the perfect place to do their engagement session.  The location of the engagement photos should reflect the couples personalities.  This was a perfect match!

Can you say wood fired brick oven pizza truck?  Say it with me…  Wood Fired Brick Oven Pizza Truck!  I could probably stop right there but I won’t.

Seriously y’all!  There was a pizza truck at this rehearsal dinner!  Rebecca and Mark absolutely love the Big Green Truck and commissioned them to come to Portsmouth, RI all the way from New Haven, CT, which in New England terms is WICKED FAR. The lawn of their rented home on the water was the perfect spot for a laid back gathering on the night before the Big Day. Long tables covered in crisp, white linens, cloth napkins, and upcycled tomato sauce cans holding wildflowers complimented the seaside setting. Everyone had a wonderful time and were so excited to celebrate the next day at the Herreshoff Marine Museum!

Every wedding we photograph holds a special place in our hearts. We can’t really say one wedding or couple are our absolute favorite, however there are some… like today’s, that absolutely blow us away. It’s not just about the location even though Carolyn’s Sakonnet Vineyard in Little Compton is breathtaking. It’s not about how attractive our couple is even though Anna and Mike are super good looking. It’s not even about the dress or the flowers or the food. It’s simply about the love. Mike and Anna opened their home to us in Vermont when we were up there for their engagement session. That’s when we felt the love. And it spread. The day of the wedding was bright and warm and, well, it was perfect! Mike and Anna were surrounded by family and friends who were as much in love with them as they are with each other. They were married under an arbor that Anna’s father built and Sayles Livingston decorated with the most beautiful florals. The tented reception was flowing with food, wine, music, and dancing. Views of the bay and the sprawling vines provided guests with an experience unique to our little state of Rhode Island. This summer Mike and Anna will welcome a baby boy into this world expanding their love even further and we can’t wait to meet the newest Giorgio!!
