There is no place in RI that says summer to me like Newport.  Shooting weddings has made me realize that us Rhode Islanders take it for granted sometimes.  Like Mike and Yineth a lot of our clients come to Newport for their destination wedding.  Their guests are always in awe of this town!  It doesn’t hurt that they are spending part of their visit in unreal locations like Belle Mer!  What a treat!  The staff there really know how to throw a top notch party which was perfect for Mike and Yineth.  These two celebrated their marriage in style!  Yineth wore a Carolina Herrera dress and veil for her wedding day.  It was absolutely stunning!  You have to love a lady that starts the day off in Louboutin’s and changes into a second pair of designer heels.  They also hired RI’s best vendors.  Stoneblossom outdid themselves for this one.  All the orchids!  It was gorgeous!  Yineth’s orchid bouquet was a modern twist on the classic cascading bouquet.  One of our faves, Victor Events, was there to keep the dancing going all night!  This wedding was actually the last one we shot in a triple wedding weekend.  The people, decor, and overall fun of this day really gave us life!  When you do what you love it’s never work!

This was our first time documenting a wedding at Five Bridge Inn.  Some people are concerned when we have never been to a venue.  Although familiarity can be nice it can also be a hindrance.  We always want to keep our work fresh and new.  When you go to a place you know like the back of your hand it can be a challenge.  New venues pump creativity through our veins!  It’s exciting to peek around a corner to find the coolest textured wall or a perfectly lit garden!  Every time we wandered to a new area at Red Bridge Inn there was something new and beautiful to photograph!  Aimee mentioned in her questionnaire that she was excited to get a photo with the llamas.  Ummmm what?!  Yes!  It turns out Five Bridge Inn has llamas on site!  Needless to say wish granted!  We made that llama photo dream come true obviously!  How could we not?  This wedding reunited us with one of our favorite vendors, Jaime Nelson at Eventfully Planned!  When we heard Jaime would be in charge we knew that the wedding would not only be beautiful but it would run smoothly.  We were right!  With the help of Golden Gate Studios and Peak Event Services the decor was so gorgeous!  Confectionary Designs made a cake just for us topped with an M and lemon accents for Marisa (lemon is her fave)!  Well it was actually for Aimee and Chris, but we felt like it was our cake.  Although they did leave some of their delicious donuts for us vendors and they were to die for!!!  We really do love our wedding vendor friends!  Can’t wait to see you all this wedding season!

This was an engagement that we were all waiting for!  Yes, even us!  Jenni told us Steven was expected to propose any day. She had the date picked for the wedding. We had it marked off on our calendar. Now we just needed the proposal!  Thankfully Steven came through.  Obviously Jenni said yes!!  We always want the engagement sessions to show off our client’s individual personalities as well as their lives together.  This is why we were so happy they brought along their fur baby, Dexter.  Jenni is obsessed with him so he had to be involved.  Another thing Jenni is obsessed with?  PIZZA!  When we saw the pizza sign over Fellini’s on Wickenden we had to take advantage.  Looking through these photos is making me miss these two.  As Steven would say they are class acts.  Love you, guys!!
