When the sun starts to set we always ask our couples to take a little time for photos.  It’s the most beautiful light of the day and in those couple of minutes we usually get our best shots. With the Castle Hill Inn being right on the ocean at sunset the entire property glows!  It was around this time when we had Melissa and Alex walk together by the water.  At one point I overheard her say that she felt so lucky to have had such a beautiful wedding day!  Hearing that honestly made my heart so happy!  Yes, the weather was amazing.  The staff at Castle Hill Inn were giving it their all to take care of Melissa and Alex plus 120 other people.  And yes, Sayles Livingston Design delivered with some of the most beautiful florals I’ve ever seen.  We also had a part in the success of the wedding!  Our photos may not be delivered until after the day is done, but we are with our bride and groom for every step they take on that wedding day!  When you really get down to it our job is so much more than photos.  We are there to make our couples feel at ease so they can have the best day (and photos) ever!  When we heard that come from Melissa we knew we had accomplished our goal!  Another happy customer!

Linen Place in Bristol is one of our favorite places for a wedding. We have been there for every season and can say it is always beautiful. Paige and Jeff decided on a spring wedding.  I have always thought that people underestimate the spring.  Nature really does put on a show as it comes back to life after the cold winter.  It is the perfect time of year to take photos!  Paige and Jeff’s wedding reminded me of an Anthropologie ad…  But maybe everything does because I love it there!  Fun fact!  This wedding was featured in RI Monthly’s Engaged Magazine!  Seeing a wedding we have shot in print never gets old!

Hey, remember that time Staten Island came to Castle Hill Inn in Newport?  No?  Well we sure do!  And let me tell you…  Newport will never be the same!  Jacqueline and Patrick met working together as high school teachers in New York.  The high school that they work at is known as “the Castle on the Hill”.  I think you can see where I’m going with this!  Jacqueline envisioned a romantic fairytale on the water for her wedding day.  With the help of greenlion designs and Exquisite Events her vision became a reality.  Candle light, chandeliers, and lace draped on the top of the tent with greens, gold and blush pink accents on long tuscan tables brought the dream to life.  While the decor was soft and light the celebration was wild!  C4 Event Group brought the lights and music.  Jacqueline and Patrick love to dance and that is what they did!  It was so much fun for us to spend the day with these two.  With their sweet, down to earth personalities it is so hard to not love these two.
