It felt like the first perfect summer day of the year at this Belle Mer Island House Wedding in Newport! Kelly and David lucked out big time considering the forecast had been calling for rain all week. Sometimes, New England weather works in your favor, and this was definitely one of those days. With blue skies, a warm breeze, and the stunning waterfront backdrop of Belle Mer, it was the ideal setting for a summer wedding.
Of course, no Belle Mer wedding would be complete without seagulls making their presence known—but this time, we had an unexpected visitor. Just as we were taking formal portraits, a raven swooped in! Someone mentioned that ravens are a sign of good luck, which sounded like a great omen—though, after hearing in the speeches that Kelly is deathly afraid of birds, she might have preferred a different sign! Haha!
Kelly and David, thank you for letting us be part of your incredible day. It was such a joy to capture your love and all the laughter that filled every moment. AND a special shoutout to your sweet friend and videographer, Rachel—we absolutely loved working with her!
Cheers to a lifetime of love and happiness! 🥂
