Every once in a while, we meet a family so welcoming and generous with their love that we feel like we’re part of their event rather than outsiders looking in. Jared and Tyler’s rehearsal dinner at Bowen’s Wharf was one of those nights.

Jared’s mom, Sherri Klein, is a Newport wedding planner, which is perfect because Jared and Tyler live in Florida and needed some long-distance help. We were so flattered that out of all her industry contacts, Sherri trusted us to photograph the most important wedding she’ll ever plan!

We didn’t meet Jared and Tyler until the night of the rehearsal dinner, but when we finally met, it was love at first sight! And not only toward them, but toward their entire families. And they had a beautiful night for their rehearsal dinner — perfect for a few shots on the Wharf. We got so caught up in capturing the couple’s happy smiles that Marisa almost fell off the dock, camera and all! Now that’s dedication.

That beautiful night was the start of a beautiful relationship, and we can’t to show off the photos from the main event!
